About

I'm Samiul Hossain, a final-year software engineering student at York University in Toronto.

Most of what I make starts as something I wanted to exist: a music player that isn't a webview, a manga reader that runs on Linux, a news reader that stops after one edition, a York degree planner so I could stop juggling five official sites.

The other half starts as a question. Can a PS1 game be recompiled to native C? Can Empire at War's single-threaded sim run on every core without changing a single outcome? Can a real fly connectome drive a game character? Can HotSpot boot inside an Android app? I like projects where the answer has to be proven with tests, frame dumps or benchmarks.
