16 2DISOFIGHT
A twin-stick arena roguelike in Go with a three-slot loadout and seeded runs.
status: prototype → vertical slice
samiul@portfolio:~/projects/2disofight$ cat problem.txt
Most roguelikes centre on one weapon with cosmetic variants. The goal was melee and ranged as equal pillars, drops as the only progression, and every run seedable.
samiul@portfolio:~/projects/2disofight$ cat build.log
Go and raylib, no engine. The prototype nailed the combat feel (twin-stick aim, dash with i-frames, a melee that parries projectiles, a shotgun with recoil, telegraphed enemies, hitstop) and grew into a slice: handcrafted arena rooms, weapon drops with swap compare, a procedural weapon generator (archetype + core + mods, rarity with pity), and seeded runs for speedruns and reproducible bug reports.
